Berlin Probate District was constituted June 2, 1824 from the Farmington, Hartford, and Middletown Probate Districts. The Berlin Probate District serves the municipalities of Berlin and New Britain.

The Connecticut State Library does not hold any original records from the Berlin Probate District. It does have microfilmed copies of record books, 1824-1917.
