Historical Note

Naugatuck, New Haven County, Town established in May 1844, Parent Towns: Bethany, Oxford, and Waterbury

The Naugatuck Probate District was constituted July 4, 1863, from the Waterbury Probate District. The towns of Beacon Falls, Middlebury, and Prospect became part of the Naugatuck Probate District on January 5, 2011.
