The East Windsor Probate District was constituted May 1782, from the Hartford and Stafford Probate Districts and processed probate matters for the Town of South Windsor from its incorporation until creation of the Region #4 Probate District on January 5, 2011.  The Greater Windsor District serves the municipalities of East Windsor, South Windsor, and Windsor.
