1978, Connecticut Alcohol and Drug Abuse Council formed by merger of the State Alcohol Council and the Connecticut Drug Council per P.A. 78-127.

1980, renamed the Connecticut Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission per P.A. 80-92.

1993, merged into new Dept. of Public Health and Addiction Services.
