Agency History :

1965, Board of Trustees for the State Colleges established per P.A. 330.
1982, June 7, Governor O’Neill signed a bill designating the four state colleges as the Connecticut State University. On March 1, 1983, Western, Southern, Eastern and Southern Connecticut State Colleges were renamed as Universities. The Board became the Board of Trustees for the Connecticut State University.
