1973, Oct. 1, replaced by Dept. of Commerce, per P.A. 73-599.
1979, Dept. of Commerce replaced by Dept. of Economic Development per P.A. 77-614.
1995, Oct. 1, Dept. of Economic and Community Development established  by P.A. 95-250 to consolidate the Dept. of Economic Development and the Dept. of Housing
