1871, Insurance Dept. established per Public Acts chpt. CXXXCIII.
1979, Insurance Dept. becomes the Insurance Division in the new
Dept. of Business Regulation per P.A. 77-614.
1980, Insurance Department reestablished when Dept. of Business
Regulation is abolished per P.A. 80-482.
