CGS sec. 12-800 through 12-834.
1971, P.A. 865 established the
Commission on Special Revenue. The Commission initiates and
administers the Connecticut State Lottery.
1979, July 1, Commission on Special Revenue is replaced by
Gaming Policy Board and a
Division of Special
Revenue within the
Dept. of Business Regulation,
per P.A. 79-404.
1980, July 1, Gaming Policy Board and Division of Special Revenue begin
operating under the
Dept. of Revenue Services for administrative purposes only,
following the abolition of the Dept. of Business Regulation, per P.A. 80-482.
1996, July 1, The State Lottery becomes a quasi-public corporation. Name
changed to Connecticut Lottery Corporation per P.A. 96-212.
