holidays. Reproductions and Permission
to Publish require prior approval. For questions about recent accessions, transferring records to the State Archives, and using confidential or restricted records, contact Archives staff at 860-757-6595.

The Basics of Archives. Developed in cooperation with COSHRC
(Council of State Archivists), the Michigan Historical Center, the
New York State Archives, and the Ohio Historical Society, and with a
grant from IMLS. Participants proceed at their own pace through this
online workshop that covers the basics of archives management and
practices including acquiring collections, processing, housing and
preservation, and providing access.
