The Connecticut State Historical Records Advisory Board will be holding a meeting at the Litchfield Historical Society on October 2 from 10-12 Noon to kick off the celebration of Connecticut Archives Month. This event is part of a larger American Archives Month. During the meeting, members will reflect on extraordinary ways in which archives have been “useful” to researchers. The meeting is open to the public and there will be time for attendees to relate their own stories about research “finds” and the importance of available archival records in a free society.
