document the history of the church's congregations, clergy and staff, leadership, liturgy, philosophy, programs, activities, and facilities.
The Archives identifies, collects, preserves, and makes available records and
personal papers of enduring historical value from congregants, staff, and related
associates and affiliates. The Archives makes its collections available to members of the congregation and researchers from the general public.
Example 2
The mission of the Archives of the Historical Society of Riveroaks is to document the history of the community of Riveroaks and the region. The Archives identifies, collects, preserves, and makes available records and personal papers of enduring value from Riveroaks residents, organizations, businesses, and related groups from the 1700s to the present.
The Archives makes its collections available to the general public upon request and by appointment.
Example 3
The mission of the Riveroaks Free Public Library, Special Collections Department is to document the local history and genealogy of the Riveroaks area from the late 18th century through the present day.
The Special Collections Department identifies, collects, preserves, and makes available records of enduring value relating to the community and people of the Riveroaks area. Special Collections materials are available during the business hours of the Riveroaks Free Public Library.

The Archives identifies, collects, preserves, and makes available the City of Riveroaks' public governmental records of enduring value from the 1700s to the present. The Archives makes its collections available to the general public upon request.
