Review the Records

Now that you have decided on your arrangement scheme, you will take a second look at the collection to decide what supplies you will need and how much preservation work will be necessary.

You note that the records are in good condition although they are quite dusty; there are news clippings; there isnít any material larger than 8 Ĺ x 14 (legal size); there are many photographs within the collection; papers are held together using both staples and paper clips and there is no rust on either; there are some soft cover bound volumes (exhibit catalogs) within the collection.
