|Lesson:||Lesson 5 – Processing: Putting It All Together|
1. Copy the original folder label exactly onto the archival quality folder using a Number 2 pencil and clear handwriting.
2. Place the items in the labeled folder.
3. Folders can be creased along edge lines to ensure the documents don’t bend. (File folders have lines that run parallel to the center fold. If you crease the folder along one of those lines, the folder expands to accommodate more documents.)
If the contents of one of the original folders is too large for a single archival folder, use a second folder. Label both folders identically (per the original), and note “folder 1 of 2” and “folder 2 of 2.”
