Course Overview 


This course is divided into five lessons:


Lesson One serves as an orientation to the course.


Lesson Two explains the following core concepts:  provenance, original order and the grouping of records into collections and series.


Lesson Three defines basic preservation actions, how to implement them, and how to deal with special formats.


Lesson Four defines description and explains how to create finding aids.


Lesson Five explains processing as the simultaneous arrangement, description, and preservation of historical records and explains how to do it.


The Course Conclusion summarizes the key concepts of the course and provides a link to the final exam, as well as additional resources.
