Lesson Two Summary All your security policies and procedures must be written to reflect your own program’s context, your staffing, your facility layout, and your existing security precautions. Security for historical records programs can ultimately be based on a very common sense approach. Sturdy, locked doors, locked windows, good collection management practices, and patron registration and monitoring can go a long way to ensuring that your collections are safe and secure. |
