This course is divided into four lessons: 


“How to make the Best of the Building You’re In” serves as an orientation to the course.


Lesson One describes assessing buildings and areas used to house historical records, and explains how to address environmental conditions under which historical records are housed.


Lesson Two explains the importance of securing historical collections and how to do it.


Lesson Three defines disaster planning and how to do it.


Lesson Four serves as the course conclusion, summarizes the key concepts of the course and provides a link to the final exam, as well as additional resources.
