Course Objectives    Objective This course demonstrates the tools to publicize and provide access to historical records.   Outcomes At the end of this course, the user will be able to:   1. Define what a reference policy is, understand its importance, and be able to draft a reference policy    2. Determine what reference services are appropriate given institutional capabilities    3. Publicize the existence of historical records    4. Create appropriate exhibits and understand how to loan historical records to other institutions
