Course Overview 

 

This course is divided into five lessons: 

 

This Welcome lesson serves as an orientation to the course.

 

Lesson One defines a reference policy, gives you the tools to create a reference policy and defines how to determine the appropriate level of reference services for an institution.

 

Lesson Two explains publicizing your collections, helps you define the audiences you want to reach, and gives examples of outreach activities.

 

Lesson Three defines exhibits, provides information on creating exhibits and explains how to loan historical records to other institutions.

 

The Course Conclusion summarizes the key concepts of the course and provides a link to the final exam, as well as additional resources.

 

The Course Series Conclusion finishes this course and the series.
