Librarian, Children's Department. Busy, customer-service oriented library
seeks dynamic full-time staff member. Responsibilities include: library
programming, reference, readers' advisory services and a strong emphasis on
storytelling. Applicant must have familiarity with automated systems and
microcomputers. ALA/MLS required, related experience preferred. Salary
begins at $31,044.
Library staff, part-time for Sunday afternoons from October to April.
Circulation, adult reference and children's department all have openings at
a rate of $13.94 for non-professional and $18.23 for professional
positions. Additional hours may be available year round.

Manager's Office, 131 Cedar Street, Newington, CT 06111 by August 15, 1997
at 4:30 p.m.
