Subject: Electric Library Free Trial and Special Pricing
Last Chance to join 1997/1998 statewide license for Electric Library
Electric Library is a data base information service available on the
Internet. It provides access to an on-line reference collection containing
over 800 full text newspapers and magazines, 2000 books and works of
literature, an encyclopedia, almanacs, and a library of photos and maps.
Additional information, and a detailed list of all full text sources, can
be viewed on the Electric Library home page (http://www.elibrary.com).
Free Product Trial -- October 8 to November 30
* Last opportunity this year to try the product
* No cost to participate in the trial
* All libraries with graphical Internet access are eligible
Special Subscription pricing
*Subscribe to Electric Library under the 1997/1998 price.
( Subscriptions will run from 12/1/97 to 6/30/98. )
* Choose either pool or private connections.
Pool Connections - Each pool subscription can be installed on one
PC in
the library.The fee for the 12/1/97-6/30/98 period is $292.
Private Connections - A private connection can be installed on all
PC's in the library but only one at a time can access the database. The
fee for the 12/1/97-6/30/98 period is p$ 594 for public and $438 for school
libraries.
To get more information and to participate in the trial, please register
for and attend one of the scheduled kick-off sessions.
