Outreach Coordinator, National Network of Libraries of Medicine New England
Region
Full time permanent position available immediately to develop and coordinate
outreach activities and programs to unaffiliated, rural and minority
healthcare professionals. Demonstrate and exhibit National Library of
Medicine Medline, Internet Grateful Med and PubMed and other NN/LM New
England Region programs and services to healthcare professionals and
librarians. Expertise in DOS and MAC operating systems and application
software and knowledge of current Internet applications including Netscape,
Internet Explorer, Telnet, FTP, HTML and E-Mail required. Microsoft Office
Suite highly desirable. Must have considerable interpersonal, oral
presentation and written communication skills and ability to travel
extensively in New England. An M.L.S. from an accredited library school
required. A Librarian 1 requires an M.L.S. from an ALA accredited program
and a Librarian 2 requires one year of professional library experience.
Health sciences library experience preferred. Salary beginning at $41,981
