Announcement:
Sample public library policies have been added to the Connecticut State Library Homepage.
The Middletown Library Service Center maintains an extensive collection of samples to help libraries
when they are writing or updating their policies. You may call them at 1-800-437-2313 or
860-344-2972 to request copies or visit the center to browse through the policies yourself.
To make access even easier we have added many of these policies to our homepage. There are samples
in 18 categories including Code of Conduct, Collection Development, Customer Service, Meeting Rooms,
Internet, Unattended Children and Volunteers.
Thank you to the libraries that have allowed us to mount their policies.
