We got it for around $5000 but also purchased a table, 50ft extension cable,
and distribution amplifier which raised the price to around $6000. Of course,
this was with an educational discount which we got because it was purchased
for a local school. I'm not sure if libraries get the same deal. You may also
think about using the "Universal Fund", but I'm not sure you can treat this
as infrastructure unless you maybe mount it to the ceiling. (The 5000 has the
ability to operate in either rear-projection or inverted mode.)
