The issue has been beaten to death on many a listserv.  The conclusion seems to 
be that no one is going to change their minds based on one more posting or one 
more article.

You have your neo-nazis, right wing kooks battling your middle of the road, 
ALA-supporting, God-fearing voices of reason.  That's just the way it is.

So I'd stay the hell clear of it.
