As a "non-guy" I also prefer not to have a key-chain card.  I opted for
the regular, card-sized one given out by my grocery store.  It's like
credit (and library) cards - I really hate having to carry an ALBUM with
me - I use only one to keep myself from the "I'll pay off MC with Am Ex"
routine. 

All this said,  the talk of one CT library card is more exciting than
sliced bread to me.
