This seemed so strange that I felt obliged to look further. What I
uncovered was a very good site containing all kinds of information about
Netscape Communicator/Navigator called THE NETSCAPE UNOFFICIAL FAQ, located
at:
http://www.sousystems.com/faq/ufaq.html
This site also makes it easy for you to sign on to the Netscape
Communicator NewsGroup where I found this about the infamous "bookmarks
have changed" message.
"It was a bug having to do with the time change. It fixed itself but
required two restarts (including opening the bookmarks and closing them
each time) for the problem to disappear."
