Subject: Don't Drive and Think
>From Wired magazine, Oct. 1997 (p. 47):
While driving home one day from work, Evan Brown claims he figured out a
method to reverse-engineer computer software into higher-level source code.
His employer, DSC Communications of Texas, offered to partner his venture
and share the profits, Brown says, but then withdrew the offer and demanded
that he reveal his idea, citing a 10-year-old employment agreement. When
Brown refused to tell, DSC fired him and promptly filed suit. Both parties
head to court in November.
