Subject: How to subscribe to the Conn. USF Listserv and Updates

-- PLEASE FORGIVE THE CROSSPOSTING --

Several new items were added to Connecticut's USF Website
(http://www.aces.k12.ct.us/www/fcc) today:

1. Update from the American Library Association regarding the Forms and their
   availability

2. Sample of a Telecommunications Survey that can be provided to your
schools or libraries from your telecommunications vendor to help prepare
   Form 471.

3. Instructions on how to subscribe to the Connecticut USF Listserv:

To assist Connecticut school districts and libraries to be prepared to respond
to the Universal Service Fund (USF), a listserv has
been created for this purpose: USF.

To join this listserv, please send an email to:

	mailserv@aces.k12.ct.us

and in the body of your message, type:

	subscribe usf YourFirstName YourLastName

Once your request has been processed, you will receive an email confirming your
subscription. The message will tell you how to send messages to the list,
should that be necessary. For the most part, the USF Listserv is read only as
we post items that are announced within the day..

We hope that this information is helpful for Connecticut schools and libraries
as they prepare for the beginning of the USF.
