Subject: Children's Librarian Position
The Oliver Wolcott Library in Litchfield has an opening for a full-time
Children's Librarian. Responsibilities include planning and
implementing programs, selecting materials and developing the children's
collection and facilitating cooperative activities with schools and
community groups. Duties also include providing reference and reader's
advisory service to children and adults and performing circulation
tasks. Some Saturdays and evenings. Requires recent library
experience, MLS preferred, strong service orientation, experience
working with children and knowledge of PC-based library systems. Salary
