David Burt is writing for _Connecticut Libraries_? Or is he being quoted in
someone elses column, Joe?

Dear Joe, must you insist we go down this well-beaten path again?

Burt's offer was not "to any public library" but to one public library. He
would give the subscription to only one soon to be targeted library. The
expectation is that Burt would use his podia of American Libraries, and Ct.
Libraries, and his dominant voice in way too many discussion lists to call down
the forces of darkness and repression on that one library. Would you want the
shrill voice of David Burt bellowing that the Suffield Library was now the
proven library of Hell?
