Good News from Britannica.  Static IP addresses are no longer required to
subscribe to Britannica Online.  Britannica has developed an authentication
system that uses a Britannica cookie set rather than a static IP address to
authenticate users.

For more information on cookie set authentication, please go to:

If you are not participating in the Britannica trial, but would like to
participate in the state-wide license for 1/1/98 to 6/30/98, send an e-mail
to jemerson@crlc.org.  Include your address and I'll send you an order
