Diarists Wanted
Another brilliant idea has interrupted my beauty sleep. Would it not be
entertaining and revealing for Connecticut librarians to post daily diary
entries about their worklife to ConnTech? We could have different library
departments represented, such as reference, circulation, childrens, tech
processing, administration, etc.
If participants can be found, we could do this for two months April and May
1998. All the daily entries would be combined into one e-mail letter each
day--easy to read (or delete). The cumulative entries would also be put up
on the web. At the end of the two months, extracts from the diaries could
be run in Connecticut Libraries journal (upon approval).
I would be happy to coordinate this, and also offer my daily entries, which
are sure to delight young and old alike. The challenge will be to be
honest, yet still retain our jobs.
Any diarists out there? Please e-mail me at: cadieux@librarybook.com
