Hi Sheri--
Hall Memorial Library is a small-to-mid-sized library with one e-mail
account for the whole library. We publicize it by including it on our web
page, the town web page (I am the web cordinator for the town), our
stationary and my business cards, and the library brochure. We have
received a minimal amount of requests--actually fewer than I anticipated.
Most have come from out of town and even out of state, and were (you guessed
it!) genealogical questions. When I receive a request, I put it in the pile
with all the other stuff to do that day, and try to get to it within a
reasonable amount of time. None of the requests to date have been
time-sensitive, and all requesters have been happy with their answers.
Hope this helps.
