Want to change your space? Want to expand your library? Are you planning to apply for the State Public Library Construction Grant for remodeling, renovation, addition, or new construction?
Come to a Libratects seminar at Derby Public Library on Thursday, May 17, 2001, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.. Derby Public Library was a renovation and addition project (7,200 square feet addition with a total building of 14,700 square feet).
These programs give librarians, trustees, architects, and local government officials the opportunity to visit new or renovated buildings. Some of these buildings have added many new computer workstations on a variety of types of furniture. Speakers for each program can include the librarian, trustees, architect, and others involved in the project.
No advance registration is required, each Libratects program is free of charge, and everybody is welcome. If you have any questions, please feel free to call or E-mail me.
Cancellation policy due to bad weather: If the public schools in the town/city that the library is located are closed due to the bad weather, the workshop would be canceled.
