On behalf of the Connecticut State Library, WCLC is making
arrangements to downlink two satellite videoconferences on the E-Rate
telecommunications discounts:
Year Five for Beginners on October 18
and
Year Five Maximizing Discounts on October 25
Both will be broadcast live from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., and re-broadcast
in delayed digital format at 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
One viewing location will be Eastern Connecticut State University
(1:30 - 3:30, room location to be announced). We're working on other
locations. If you'd like to be a downlink site, and can open your
facility to people from other libraries, towns, or schools, please
let me know ASAP (abarney@wclc.org) so we can publicize all
locations. We don't have satellite coordinates yet.
The State Library is paying for the rights to downlink and tape these
teleconferences, so there will be no charge to your institution to
downlink, or to attend.
