Libraries Depend on their Boards. How Good is Yours, and How Can You Make it Stronger?
will be held on Friday, November 16, 2001.
A PROGRAM FOR LIBRARY TRUSTEES AND LIBRARY DIRECTORS
Jointly sponsored by the Association of Connecticut Library Boards,
Connecticut State Library and the Connecticut Library Association
This conference will be held at The Heritage: A Dolce Conference Resort in Southbury, CT.
Simone P. Joyaux, ACFRE, will present the morning session on "Building the Best Board for Your Library, One Capable of Meeting a Public Crisis?"
The afternoon session will be the Wallingford Public Library Panel Discussion "Put to the Test: Meeting Room Policy and the First Amendment". Co-Directors Leslie Scherer and Karen Roesler will be joined by a Trustee, representatives from the Wallingford Police Department and Town Officials to discuss their experiences.
