Subject: [CONNTECH] CLA Minimum salary

    Please excuse cross postings.

    At it's November meeting the CLA Board voted to increase the CLA
    professional minimum salary recommednation for the fiscal year beginning
    July 1,2002 to $37,638 per year for a 35 hour work week and $43,014 for
    a 40 hour week. This is an hourly rate of $20.68. The letter I just
    mailed to all library directors has a typographical error in it. The
    letter says $37,368 for a 35 hour work week. This was entirely my
    mistake. As you plan your upcoming budgets please use the $37, 638
    figure. The CLA job line has the correct amount.
    I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Thanks very much to
    SCLC's Jan Gluz for catching my mistake.
