SUPPLIES ESTIMATES
All libraries should have received their supplies estimates
forms in the mail by now. Estimates should be returned by
12/3/01. If you have not received a form, contact Pattie at

return your supplies estimate, you will not be eligible for
the supplies discount contract in effect from July 1,
2002-June 30, 2004. Don't miss out!
RENAISSANCE LIBRARY CALENDAR
There are still copies of this 2002 wall calendar available
as advertised in your November discount column. These make
great gifts for librarians to give or receive; they also
make a nice presentation to your Board members or library

available to staff of CLSU member libraries for $10 each,
shipping included - regular price is $11.95 + $5.45 s/h. To

library. Available while supplies last (let us know if you

@ BOOKMARKS
Such a great way to promote your library, and such a deal!
CLA's Publicity Committee and ECL are offering plastic @
bookmarks to publicize CLA's 5-year "Get CONNected @ your
library" campaign. The bookmark is the perfect library
giveaway - cheap, effective, and red! The imprint will read
"Get CONNected" on the top of the @ and "@ your library" on
the bottom. ECL is purchasing 10,000 imprinted red plastic
bookmarks from JanWay so that we can offer them to libraries
and library supporters for a discounted price of $20 for 100
bookmarks. (That's only $.20 each.) CLA will buy some of the
bookmarks to give away at the Legislative reception and at
the April conference, but the remaining 9500 or so bookmarks
have many uses for libraries of all types - open houses,
author lectures, library card sign-ups, volunteer
recognition, and there is always the top ten list:
