CONSULS Directors

Meeting, Nov. 17, 2005

The CONSULS Directors met at ECSU on Nov. 17, 2005. Topics discussed included:

• Serials Solutions Article Linker. SCSU and CSL will go ahead now, acquiring this product for those two libraries only.
• Reauthorization of Database. The RFP will be sent out from CCSU. After the quotes are received, the Directors will discuss options for funding the project.
• JSTOR Journals. Continued discussion of a possible repository for print journals available electronically through JSTOR.
• III Training. CSL will offer ‘in-consortium’ training in Millennium Acquisitions and Millennium Serials based on their usage over the past year.
• CONSULS Committees. The Database Maintenance and Cataloging Committee’s name change request was approved. The Committee will now be called the Cataloging and Catalog Maintenance Committee.
