CONSULS Directors

Meeting, Apr. 24, 2006

The CONSULS Directors met at CSL’s Van Block facility on Apr. 24, 2006.  Topics discussed included:

• LibQUAL survey progress.  CCSU and SCSU’s surveys are in process; CSL’s has been closed.  
• Scoping.  Following discussion, the directors decided against pursuing additional scoping.  More discussion will take place if ECSU, which was not represented, is interested
• Backfiles Covered by JSTOR.  WCSU may pursue withdrawal of print duplicates if space requires.
• JSTOR coverage.  CCSU staff will survey the other CSU libraries to create a comprehensive list of JSTOR modules owned by each.  CSL now has everything offered.
• Meeting with Anne Agee.  The directors discussed possible topics to place on the agenda for the upcoming meeting with the CSU CIO.

• III Upgrades.  The Millennium Acquisitions training is completed.  The Millennium Serials training will be done after the upgrades.  Jeanne will work with Edward Iglesias and Theresa Ebenhoe to install Rel. 2005 in July and Rel. 2006 before Jan. 2007.
