Programming ideas from Connecticut
Libraries
Cora J. Belden Library in Rocky Hill
has participated in Money Smart Week
and has used the
Connecticut Money School (CMS)
for their programs. CMS is a
project of the Connecticut
Association for Human Services and
five nonprofit partners. They
provide free financial education
classes for adults and seniors with
topics such as Debt, Saving, Credit,
Loans, Homeownership and Senior
Issues. They also have a free,
online financial education program
called "Financial Avenue" that
teaches adults and young adults the
keys to financial success.
Fairfield Public Library has held a
series of programs through an
ALA/FINRA grant as part of the Smart
Investing @ Your Library initiative. For a description of programs,
resources, and featured speakers

Financial Future @ the Fairfield
Public Library, click
