The Arte Público Hispanic Historical Collection: Series 1 digital collection presents historical content pertaining to U.S. Hispanic history, literature and culture. This collection provides an overview of key aspects of the “Recovering the U.S. Hispanic Literary Heritage Project,” which is the largest national program to locate, identify, preserve and disseminate Hispanic culture of the United States in its written form since colonial times until 1960.
