Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Subsection (a) of section 10-29a of the general statutes, as amended by section 1 of public act 95-25 and public act 95-67, is amended by adding subdivision (34) as follows:
(NEW) (34) The Governor shall proclaim the second Sunday in October of each year to be National Children's Day. Suitable exercises shall be held in the state capitol and elsewhere as the Governor designates for the observance of the day.
