New Haven County, Town established in 1844, Parent Towns: Bethany, Oxford, and Waterbury

Naugatuck Probate District was constituted July 4, 1863 from the Waterbury Probate District. The Naugatuck Probate Court presently serves the municipalities of Beacon Falls and Naugatuck.

New Hartford Probate District was constituted May 27, 1825, from the Simsbury Probate District. The records of New Hartford previous to June 5, 1834, are found with the Barkhamsted records. Norfolk

On January 1, 2007 the Norfolk District merged with the Canaan, Cornwall, Salisbury, and Sharon Probate Districts to form a single Northwest Corner Probate District.  The Northwest Corner Probate District presently serves the municipalities of Canaan, Cornwall, Norfolk, North Canaan, Salisbury, and Sharon.
